Sooo, just how long can a love poetry scribe be?

As long as the poet/poetess wants the poem to be. However, you must continue to hold the readers interest from the beginning to the end of your poem. I have noticed in reading and listening to different historical love poems, that they have been quite lengthy. So, it does not matter how long the love poetry scribe is.

My Proposal To You

love, every since the day
that i laid my dark browns
on you, my heart has been
in awe of the essence of
beauty that you so
innocently behold inside
love, i knew that the first
day that i heard your
voice, that it would be
the voice that i would
want to hear always
and foreva afta'
i have created a
mynd mass of how i
want to celebrate my
love for you on this
special loveday....
i have searched my
heart for the right
lovewords that would
create in you an achin'
feelin' of how i hope
to share my life with
you today, tomorrow,
and foreva afta'
i long to be the breath
that you need to breathe
i long to be your rock
when strength is needed
i long to be your hope
when hopelessness
drowns you
i long to be your laughter
when grief greets you
i long to be your shoulder
when you need something
to lean on
i want to be the one that
feels the depth of your
sweet passions
i want to love you always
i want to care for you
even afta' eternity has
gone away
i want to need you like
the air that i so graciously
need to breathe
as i inhale your love for
me, i want to exhale on
knowin' that the gift of
unity that you so
willingly have given
to me is solid
i know that i'm not the
best person in this crazy
complicated world that
we live in, but i want to
come close to bein' all
that you want me to be
i want to be carin', honest,
lovin'...and much more
because, i love you with
all that i possess inside
of me
so please, take my hand
and walk with me, except
this ring of eternity, except
a life filled with happiness,
and a taste of prosperity
this is my proposal to you

been locked
away?
unfold your
weight
lift your heavy
spirit
come closer to
me
creative soul
creative soul
creative soul

yeah...let's go with that

Okay...uhmmm, what is an analogy?

An analogy can be a few things, here. It can be a similarity between like features of two things, off of which a comparison may be based on. So, you can have a similarity or a comparability that basically, commits to creating an understanding in one way or another. Logically, it can be a form of reasoning in which something is implied to be a bit similar to another thing in a certain type of respect, on the basis of the known similarity between other things but, in a different respect...I guess, you could say.

3 Wishes

if i could just have 3 wishes
and know that they would
somehow come true...
i'd not wish for wealth nor
fame, i'd only wish for you
i'd not wish for the stars
above, nor would i ask for
the moon
i'd just wish that each day
had 25 hours in it, that i
could spend with you
my second wish wouldn't be,
to be beautiful or to be
strong
i'd just wish that i had 8
days in each week, in your
arms where i belong
my third and final wish
would be, that there were
13 months in each year
so, that i'd have more months
in a year to hold you near
but, i know that my 3 wishes,
could never really come true
but at least, i know that i
have one life...i have one
life to spend with you, for
as long as you want me to

Love Poetry Word Play Tidbit...

Question: What makes a poet/poetess write beautiful words of poetry?

Answer: Love...itself. There is a certain inspiration that can be found easily, within that special feel. It is very fitting to feel the idea of beautiful love written on paper, if this can be understood. You see, one who loves unconditionally should be able to eagerly embrace this concept, a bit willingly, by increasing word flow within their scribe, to create a special imagery for all readers to perceive. Therefore, leaving the reader thirsty for more.

Let Me Comfort You

Lay here beside me, love
Bless me with your
Closeness
Tell me about all of your
Hopes, your dreams
Shower me with your
Wisdom
Embrace me with your
Passions
Let me hear your whispers
Of love felt so deep
Let me hear your heart
Beat
Let me be the sky that
Awaits your presence
Let me be the sun that
Awaits your smile
Let me be the clouds
That are so breathless
Let me be the wind that
Brings you serenity from
Within
Let me lay here beside
You, love...
Let me be the comfort
That you need
Kissing your eyelids as
You drift off into me
Holding you here in my
Arms as we meditate on
Life's many complexities
Feeling the warmth of
Your feathered soft skin
Let me live in your heart
Let me die in your eyes, as
You let me comfort you
