Sometimes, I loose my way...but it's your love that redirects me.

And so, I must confess...

Loving You

i have loved once,
twice, three times
i have lost once,
twice, three times
it is only in my
third time that i
realized that i was
really, alone
alone, as in...
without real love
i was lifeless,
helpless and full
of anger inside
i have loved through
child-like eyes as i
have danced through
winter dreams of
hopeless happiness
as it passed me by
my eyes were shut
wide open with so
much despair....
but, when i met you
i fell head first into
your wisdom and
into your strength
yet, falling in love
with you was never
meant to be
yet, falling in love
with you was
mere destiny
if i have never ever
learned anything
else on this love
growth with you, i
know of one thing
that i have learned
is that to love you is
to truly know you
inside, out, and also,
in between
but, to even say all
of that just is not
enough because
there are no words
that can even come
close to expressing
what it truly means
to love you
i thank you for the
love that you have
given to me
consistently and so
willingly freely
you have shown me that
life can be a beautiful
thing with someone
that you love dearly
you have given me a
gift that has completed
me in the most special
way...a gift of loving
you, i want to just
thank you for every day
that you have allowed
me to enter your life
and just be
